What type of data interface is required to communicate to serial input displays?

Data interface includes three options: RS232, RS485 and Ethernet connections.
RS232 is designed for peer to peer communication up to 100 feet away from the driving device. Standard PC's include an RS232 serial output.

RS485 is designed to communicate to multiple displays at a distance of 2000-3000 feet away from the driving device. An RS232 to RS485 data converter is required.

Ethernet connection is designed to place displays on a LAN and can be controlled from anywhere on the network. Each display is given an IP address. An RJ45 connector is provided.
