What is the viewing distance for LEDS?

The viewing distance for LED displays is measured at 40-50 feet per inch of digit height.

For example:
2" high text = 80-100 feet
4" high text = 160-200 feet
6" high text = 240-300 feet
8" high text = 320-400 feet
